From here, gymnast and friend of the Hypolito brothers Arthur Zanetti commented on everything that has happened with the duo on the program, talking about their personalities and fights.

The Olympic rings champion is so close to the Hypolitos that one of the brothers’ dogs was named after him, as he is “half a meter tall but has the spirit of a pit bull” like the gymnast. The trio has even experienced victories together, when they represented the country at the Olympics.

Regarding the brothers’ departure, Arthur thinks it is a positive decision for Brazilian sport, due to the influence it will bring. “In addition to being friends, I was very happy that they represented gymnastics on a program with as much audience as BBB. They certainly contributed a lot to the sport and now represent it as influencers for new generations”, he commented.

But BBB is not a sports game, but rather a game about personality and relationships. The duo’s friend knows their personalities – quite opposite, by the way – in depth, and remembers moments they lived together. “Dani is more reserved, we worked together as commentators at the Paris Olympics. Her comments were highly technical, assertive, I was very happy to have her representing the women. In fact, at these Olympics, the girls were a show apart. The brothers They contributed a lot to the promotion of the sport, they are certainly celebrities in gymnastics”, he said.

“Diego is what you see, extroverted, lively. We were commentators at the World Championships (of Artistic Gymnastics). He is also surgical when it comes to evaluating, he has been in gymnastics for many years, I myself spent almost 3 decades”, he added.

Perhaps because they are so different, the brothers often clash in the house. For Zanetti, the two’s fights don’t mean anything big: “I saw that there was discomfort… It didn’t surprise me, because that’s normal between brothers, it’s not exclusive to them.”

Another situation that accompanied the duo into the house was the discussion about aesthetics and body, which is highly demanded of perfection from athletes in general. The person who has commented most on this is Daniele, who to this day reports that she is embarrassed to go to the beach or the pool because she doesn’t like her own body.

“Unfortunately, women are more demanding of the perfect body, today even more so with the influence of social networks. But the bodies of high-performance athletes change, we already know about these changes”, commented Arthur. For him, one of the most decisive things for changing his body after retirement is stopping incessant training.

“There are an average of 2.3 workouts per day, plus weight training, physiotherapy and a dietary program designed by nutritionists. There is no way not to have more muscle mass than a non-athlete. Strengthening your muscles is part of preventing injuries, and even so we are susceptible to suffering”, he stated.

In addition to the body, the competitiveness that marks the BBB game also brings back memories of life as a gymnast. Daniele herself has already reported that, in extreme cases, they have even put water from the toilet in her water. For her, Punishment of the Monster recalls competitive moments in her career.

In this regard, Arthur had a lighter experience, and regrets his friend: “I don’t think I’ve ever gone through something like this to the extreme. I’m sorry for her, it really is an unpleasant situation. This type of example she cited goes beyond healthy competition . Healthy competitiveness is part of life, in sport it would be no different, it can even be something healthy like constructive criticism. I always try to see the positive side, as fuel”, he pointed out.
