Cristina Ferreira launched an intimate mist last Sunday, January 19th, a product that is part of the many surprises of her project ‘Eu Sou Gira’, which aims to empower and inspire women.
The launch of the intimate product has raised many questions and triggered some criticism and so, on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 22nd, the presenter went live on her Instagram account to chat a little with her followers.
Since she has been faced with some more unpleasant messages about this launch, Cristina Ferreira decided to react and explain the purpose of the intimate mist.
“There are a lot of people who are very distressed, very upset because ‘oh my God, what is Cristina doing?’, ‘after all, she is disempowering women because she is making them feel fragile because she is saying that they stink’. Ah gentlemen, why do we apply cream? Or perfume in the hair why?”he began by questioning.
“I’m not saying that people smell bad, I’m saying that this is cute, Pipy is cute, he’s an animation in our lives”he then clarified.
Cristina Ferreira downplayed the criticism, highlighting that if there are more unpleasant odors associated with the vagina, the product will not be the solution and that they should consult a professional.
“Don’t make this a serious matter because this is not a serious matter! (…) All the people who are making this issue almost a state matter, don’t get upset! And it’s not to say that people smell bad. When the smell is not a normal smell, it is a sign that there may be a problem, if there is a problem you have to be diagnosed by a gynecologist and treated for it, it is not normal to smell normal! Now this is just a joke.”.
