In a decision this Tuesday (21), the president of the STF, asked the body’s judicial secretariat to present technical information on the sending of the investigation and, afterwards, for the Attorney General’s Office to comment on the matter.
Overclean investigates, a federal agency linked to the Ministry of Regional Development, and went to the Supreme Court for citing federal deputy Elmar Nascimento (União Brasil-BA).

According to the CGU, the criminal organization handled approximately R$825 million in contracts signed with various public bodies in 2024 alone.
The PF even arrested Francisquinho Nascimento (União Brasil), councilor in the municipality of Campo Formoso (410 km from Salvador). He was executive secretary of the city hall commanded by Elmo Nascimento, Elmar’s brother.
