One popular one is to use lemon juice. It is a natural cleaning agent that not only removes grease, but also leaves a pleasant, fresh scent. The acid contained in lemon juice acts as a natural degreaser and disinfectant. If you want to try this method, squeeze the juice of two lemons into a bowl. Then pour it into an ovenproof dish and place it in the oven. Set the device to 120 degrees Celsius and leave for 30 minutes. After turning off the oven, leave it to cool down and then wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth. The steam from lemon juice will help dissolve grease and dirt. However, if you are struggling with more stubborn dirt, use the method with aluminum foil and a dishwasher tablet.
Pour boiling water over it, wipe it and dry it, and the oven will be sparkling clean. Check how to easily clean the oven. The burn and grease will disappear in no time
To clean the bakery from old dirt and burns, use a dishwasher cleaning tablet and aluminum foil. First, remove everything from the oven, then sweep out the crumbs (if there are any). Then place a dishwasher cleaning tablet on a baking tray and pour boiling water over it. Meanwhile, lightly spray the oven inside with water. When the tablet dissolves, soak a sponge in the liquid and scrub the oven, including the glass. This step will remove the first layer of dirt. The sponge will turn black. Rinse it and wipe dirty surfaces to remove any residue. If this is not enough, apply the mixture with the dissolved tablet to the dirty places and spread aluminum foil over them. Leave for 10 minutes. Thanks to aluminum, layered dirt will soften and be much easier to remove. Crush the foil and use it to scrape off any residue. Then wash the bakery again with clean water.
Cleaning the oven with baking soda and vinegar
If you have a little more time, you can use another effective home method for cleaning your oven. All you need is baking soda, water, vinegar, a damp dishcloth, rubber gloves and a spray bottle. Ammonia may also be a good alternative to baking soda. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with a few tablespoons of water until it becomes a paste. Spread the paste inside the oven. If the oven is particularly dirty, use rubber gloves. If the paste turns brownish, this is normal. Be sure to cover every part of the oven in the past – including the glass door. Leave the baking soda solution in the oven for 12 hours (or overnight). After this time, take a damp dishcloth and wipe the inside as thoroughly as possible. Then pour some spirit vinegar into a spray bottle and spray it all over the inside of the oven, thanks to which it will be thoroughly cleaned and shiny. Then wipe it one last time with a damp cloth, cleaning every nook and cranny so that no baking soda remains remain on the oven walls.
