Sinner beat Jarry (3 sets to 0), Schoolkate (3 sets to 1), Giron (3 sets to 0), Rune (3 sets to 1) and De Minaur (3 sets to 1) to reach the semifinals of the competition.
Shelton beat Nakashima (3 sets to 0), Carreno-Busta (3 sets to 1), Musetti (3 sets to 1), Monfils (who withdrew) and Soneto (3 sets to 1) to guarantee a place in the semifinals.
