The ban has been in effect since 2011. The Biden administration later expanded it further, further limiting the authorities’ powers.
“Criminals will no longer be able to hide from arrest in America’s schools and churches.” the US Department of Homeland Security said in a statement.
“The Trump administration will not tie the hands of our brave security forces. Instead, he believes they will use more common sense,” the ministry added.
The second order gives the American authorities again the possibility of quickly deporting an arrested person without the necessary documentswho is unable to prove that she has been in the country for more than two years, adds DPA.
