London/Rome – Verena Hanshaw turned her back on AS Roma and moved to West Ham United on Tuesday. The 116-time ÖFB team player is the first winter addition to the female “Hammers”, who are tenth in the table of the twelve-team Women’s Super League and are in a relegation battle. This is the second international engagement outside of Germany for the left-back, who has been 31 since Monday and has played 15 competitive games for Roma this season.
