The 2025 São Paulo Junior Football Cup final, between São Paulo and Corinthians, should mark the return of the Pacaembu stadium, now called “Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu”, after concession to Allegra.
The São Paulo Football Federation has not yet confirmed what will happen on the 25th, but expectations continue to surround the main stadium in the history of the competition.
In , Pacaembu hosted the final on 36 occasions, being the stadium with the most participation. But he wasn’t the only one. Other locations in the city of São Pualo have seen teams lifting trophies.
The first two editions of Copinha, in 1969 and 1970, were at the Vicente Ítalo Feola Educational and Sports Center, in the East Zone of São Paulo. In 1971, the final between Fluminense and Botafogo took place at the Centro Esportivo de Pirituba, in the North Zone of the city.
The first final at Pacembu took place in 1972, in Nacional-SP’s 2-1 victory over Internacional.
Before closing for renovation, Pacaembu even hosted the 2020 decision. The title was decided in a Grenal, and Colorado came out on top.
