The Commerce sector stood out with an increase of 8.1% compared to the previous year, driven by the resumption of domestic demand and the increase in real family income.
The South (8.4%) and Northeast (8.3%) regions recorded the highest growth, while the Southeast region increased by 3.7%. On the other hand, the Central-West presented a marginal growth of 0.1%, and the North region experienced a retraction of 10.4%.
The Services sector also showed recovery, with a 2.5% growth in revenue, contributing to the increase in the number of formal workers in areas such as financial services, transport, health and communication.
Industry, despite a slowdown in the 2nd half, closed the year with a 2.2% increase in revenue. Infrastructure had a slight growth of 0.8%, influenced by the election period and high interest rates.
