Do less educated people actually die earlier?

Those who have enjoyed longer (training) education can also look forward to a longer life expectancy on average. At least that is what can be seen from numerous scientific studies. A summary meta-study in the research journal The Lancet Last year, researchers came to similar conclusions about this connection: people with a university degree have a 34 percent lower risk of death in adulthood compared to people without school education. Anyone who only goes to school for twelve years still reduces the risk by 24.5 percent.
