Thanks to them, the skin is, among other things, nourished and illuminated, and that’s not all, this fruit also has other advantages. The advantage is the simplicity of the recipe – it can be made in a few minutes with just two ingredients.

This fruit contains vitamin C, vitamin B3 and vitamin E. It also has natural moisturizing properties. Due to the presence of polyphenols, it has antioxidant properties, which helps fight bacteria. Antioxidants such as vitamin C neutralize free radicals that lead to premature aging and skin damage. Regularly using a dragon fruit mask can help reduce wrinkles and wrinkles.

Additionally contained in the fruit vitamin C supports the production of collagen, which is responsible for the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Thanks to this, it reduces the visibility of wrinkles and delays their appearance on the face. In turn, thanks to its high water content, it helps moisturize the skin. Additionally, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research has indicated that it may be helpful in treating sunburn.

A study published in Food Chemistry Advances indicated that this fruit actually the dye it contains has antibacterial properties against all tested bacterial strains. Thanks to this, it can soothe irritated skin and reduce redness. It can also prevent acne.

First of all, you can prepare from this fruit nourishing masks, for this purpose, combine two tablespoons of pulp with a teaspoon of honey or a tablespoon of yogurt or aloe. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply on your face for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. You can also make a scrub from dragon fruit. To do this, combine two tablespoons of pitaya pulp with one tablespoon of oatmeal. Apply this mixture to your face and massage in circular motions, then rinse off after a few minutes.

Lip scrub can be made with two tablespoons of fruit, a teaspoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of olive oil. Gently massage this mixture into your lips and rinse. If you have acne problems, try a mask with turmeric. Mix two tablespoons of the pulp with half a teaspoon of turmeric and apply to acne-prone skin areas. Rinse after 15 minutes.
