In an exclusive interview with CNN This Thursday (23), the former President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), commented on the 2026 electoral dispute, which is already beginning to arouse interest on the part of politicians and artists on the more conservative side.
Since the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) made Bolsonaro ineligible for eight years, one of the main names being considered to replace him in the dispute is the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).

Regarding Tarcísio, Bolsonaro said he believes he is an “excellent manager”, but that it is necessary to talk to the people, to understand “whether he is mature to represent the right or not”.
Bolsonaro reaffirmed his desire to return to the Presidency.
