SHMÚ has issued several warnings for Slovakia: you have to be careful about THIS!

Even during Friday (January 24), the ice warning will continue throughout the country. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) draws attention to this on its website. He also issued a first level warning for fog, it has been in effect since Thursday evening. It is expected in several districts with the exception of the Žilina, Bratislava and Prešov regions.

Level 1 ice warning will remain in place at night and during Friday morning until 10:00 a.m. Subsequently, meteorologists expect the occurrence of ice in the entire territory from Friday evening from 8:00 p.m. until Saturday (January 25) morning. Fog is possible until Friday morning at 9:00 AM. SHMÚ also issued a warning about the smog situation for PM10 particles. Valid from January 21 until further notice in the Liptovský Mikuláš district.
