The mayor of , (), is expected to report this Thursday (23) a crime against the city for attempting to implement the motorcycle taxi service in the city.
The two companies decided to defy Nunes’ municipal decree that vetoed the service on the grounds that it represented a risk of increased deaths.
In response, they argue that a federal law guarantees the modality, and they took the issue to court.
The municipal management, however, has said that there will be no retreat or negotiation, at least at this moment. Nunes says he is especially bothered by what he described as the disrespectful attitude of the two companies.
