This Wednesday, January 22nd, another ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ aired, a program on SIC Caras led by Liliana Campos.
The commentators on yesterday’s broadcast were Sara Norte, Filipa Torrinha Nunes and Heitor Lourenço, who were present to analyze the current news in the world of celebrities.
One of the highlighted topics was the interview given by Ângelo Rodrigues to Salvador Martinha, the first after his coma due to aspiration pneumonia ().
After highlighting that she appreciates the professional and person that Ângelo Rodrigues is, Sara Norte criticized the fact that the actor spoke about the topic with “levity” and humor, as he appeared at the beginning of the interview on a stretcher.
“This was not an accident, Ângelo goes into a coma because of things that have to do with him. Right now, I have my father-in-law in the hospital in an induced coma with severe pneumonia, there are people like my father-in-law fighting for their life in a hospital and who did nothing to be there, so it shocks me that he comes in on a stretcher and talks about the coma with a levity- because he talks- I don’t think it’s funny. For me there are limits to humor (…). When you give an interview after a situation like this, either you tell the whole truth or it’s better to keep quiet (…)”he highlighted.
In the end, the commentator advised the actor to admit his mistakes and not use humor to deal with serious issues: “Now, don’t crucify Ângelo, everyone in this life makes mistakes, everyone! (…) I don’t care if people take drugs, if people drink alcohol, what interests me is that they are good people and Ângelo is. I think you spoke very lightly, things cannot be taken that lightly. (…) People must admit their problems and I think Ângelo still has a long way to go before he can admit his mistakes without wearing a comedy mask, talking about things seriously, I think it’s needed”.
