In honor of the nominations of “I’m Still Here” e Fernanda Torres to the Oscar 2025the series “Slaps and Kisses”, starring the actress, will be shown on the TV Globo this Thursday (23).
The film will be part of the broadcaster’s schedule with the airing of two episodes in the frame Afternoon Session.
“Tapas e Beijos” is a romantic comedy that presents the story of two inseparable friends who share an apartment in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro and work in the South Zone of Rio. Both face difficulties in finding a “prince charming” and always end up getting into trouble. In each episode, Fátima (Fernanda Torres) and Sueli (Andréa Beltrão) overcome obstacles, having to deal with setbacks in search of happiness and personal fulfillment.
The series aired on TV Globo for five seasons, between 2011 and 2015.
“I’m Still Here” made history this Thursday by winning three Oscar 2025 nominations, including in the Best Film category – for a Brazilian feature film. The production also competes in the categories of Best International Film and .
The 2025 Oscar Awards take place in March 2nd.
