The project of the new Administrative Center foresees the construction of several buildings, in order to facilitate communication between employees and revitalize the center of São Paulo. The proposal includes the removal of the Princess Isabel bus terminal and the park’s restructuring. In addition, the construction of restaurants, shops and bars is planned to encourage the circulation of people in the region, including weekends. The Palace of Campos Elísios, which has housed the Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship since September last year, will be one of the foundations of this new administrative complex.
The state government has plans to launch the auction for the construction of the new headquarters in 2025, with the expectation that the works will start in 2026.
