O councilman From the city of Osasco, Osmar Guedes, was shot on the night of Thursday (23), in the Rochdale neighborhood, Osasco, Greater São Paulo.
The motivation of the crime is still investigated.

The Osasco Municipal Civil Guard was called and, when he arrived at the scene, found that Osmar was already lifeless.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), a mobile device was seized at the scene, but no one was arrested. The occurrence was recorded by the Civil Police in the 5th Osasco PD such as homicide and location/seizure of objects.
Osmar disputed the 2024 elections for the Democratic Renewal Party (PRD). Competing to the position of councilor by Osasco, he had 792 votes and was elected only as an alternate councilman.
