The young man, who threatened to kill the teacher in Hranovnice, took into custody on Friday. Michal Sovič, a spokesman for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Prešov, informed about it. The incident took place on Wednesday (22 January) at the local school during the class.
“The Prosecutor of the District Prosecutor’s Office Poprad filed a petition for the pre-trial judge for the pre-trial proceedings of the Poprad District Court to take a 15-year-old elementary school pupil in Hranovnica in the case of a crime of dangerous threats to be committed against the teacher of this elementary school,” the spokesman said.
The proposal for custody was filed because of the so -called preventive custody. Indeed, on the basis of the investigation carried out, there was a reasonable concern that he could continue criminal activity in the event of retaining the accused at freedom. “The judge for the pre -trial proceedings of the Poprad District Court Poprad upheld the application for custody,” concluded Sovič.
