Decathlon Portugal recently announced a set of new benefits for its employees, which include the increase in the number of annual vacation days. From January 1, 2025, multinational workers in the country will be able to enjoy up to 30 days of vacation a year, a measure that reinforces the company’s commitment to the well-being of its teams.
A new rest model
The company, which has already offered the 22 -day mandatory vacation and three days of increase, has now added new benefits to its advantage package. Among the news is the right to an additional day of rest on the employee’s anniversary. If this date coincides with a usual clearance, the worker may choose to enjoy this benefit on the previous or next business day, or on the anniversary of a family member. In addition, all employees have the ability to get up to four days of extra rest per year, without impacting the remaining benefits.

These measures are added to the increase in the minimum gross salary to 1,093 euros, announced by the company in December 2024.
