Despite initially downloading prices to compete with the entry of DIGI, telecommunications operators again rose the costs of the packages.
Digi’s entry into the telecommunications market in Portugal, with aggressively low prices, generated a wave of adjustments by the main operators.
According to data from Anacom, companies such as Meo, Nos and Vodafone quickly changed their prices and launched new offers to compete with the newcomer. However, some of these operators ended up reversing prices on high after the initial descents.
Digi launched services fastened broadband With monthly fees from 10 euros, forcing MEO and reducing its minimum prices of 25.99 and 24.99 euros to 15 and 12.50 euros, respectively.
