For the preparation of Roman faworki, i.e. chatterwe will need:
- 2 eggs,
- 2 tablespoons of liqueur,
- 250 g of wheat flour,
- 30 g of butter,
- 50 g cukru,
- powdered sugar for sprinkling,
- Frying oil,
- The skin is grated with one lemon,
- A pinch of salt.
Of course, in a real Italian recipe you have to use Classic liqueur from sunny Italy. In this case, it is best to check amaretto or limoncello. For frying, Italians most often use rapeseed oil as opposed to lard, which we use when preparing classic Polish cribs.
