The composition contains a lot of valuable compounds and nutrients. These include: vitamins C, K, A, E and those from the B group, minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, selenium and manganese, as well as antioxidants and chemical compounds such as beta-carotene, lutein, folates and anthocyanins.

Ingredients:

  • a kilogram of red cabbage,
  • 100g majonezu,
  • 100 g of natural yogurt,
  • apple,
  • small onion,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of granulated garlic,
  • salt and pepper to taste,
  • additionally: favorite spices.

How to do it:

Finely chop the cabbage and place it in a large bowl. Sprinkle with a teaspoon of salt and Knead it thoroughly to soften it. Then add a pinch of pepper and put it in the fridge for about 1-2 hours.

Add yogurt, mayonnaise, granulated garlic and your favorite herbs to a separate bowl – dried dill or sweet pepper will work well. Mix the ingredients together to create a thick sauce.

Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes. Chop the onion. Take the cabbage out of the fridge and add the chopped vegetables and the previously prepared sauce. Mix everything together and then put it back in the fridge so that the flavors can mingle.

The salad is delicious and versatile. It can be served as an addition to dinner, put on sandwiches, and added to homemade kebabs and hamburgers.
