São Paulo and Corinthians had a Copinha final worthy of Majestoso this Saturday morning (25/01), at Pacaembu. Despite having started losing 2-0, Tricolor Paulista went on to come back 3-2 and won their fifth Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior title on the day the club turns 95 years old.
But Tricolor’s hero in the match was Paulinho, who scored two goals and replaced Ryan Francisco in the final.

Ryan Francisco was unable to attend the Copinha final due to suspension. In his place, Paulinho was chosen.
At 45, Tricolor Paulista returned to the match after a well-placed corner kick, which Paulinho completed for the goal, reducing the score.
At 16, São Paulo managed to reach equality, again with a header from a corner kick. This time it was Alves who carefully charged for Andrade to complete.
Four minutes later, São Paulo turned around using again the play that has been successful in the duel: the ball launched into the area by Maik, and completed with a header by Paulinho.
The player was the big name in the Tricolor title. Paulinho was part of the campaign for the team that won the Copa do Brasil under-20 in the last edition. In addition to the decision, Paulinho’s speech at the end of the game caught a lot of attention from fans.
