The name of Chara comes from Greek mythology. Her name was the daughter of the sun god. She was one of the goddesses of beauty, joy and grace, which in Roman mythology were called grace. They were considered the patron of fine arts and the personification of natural charm.
At the same time, however, Chara’s name appeared in completely different, independent cultures. We find them in ancient India and Japan, which are difficult to suspect of contacts and connections with Greece. Certainly, Krara’s name was taken over by early Christian culture from ancient Greeks.
