The vice president of Brazil, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), congratulated the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Ricardo Lewandowski, for ordering the removal of handcuffs from Brazilians deported from the USA.
Alckmin also spoke about the shipment to take them to their final destination, in Minas Gerais.
Lula’s deputy also cited an excerpt from the Constitution that addresses Human Rights.
“Our Constitution establishes the dignity of the human person as a basic republican principle and the prevalence of human rights as one of the axes of its international relations”, he stated.

A CNN found that the plane landed in Manaus to refuel. However, during the procedure, causing a beginning of commotion among passengers, leading to the cancellation of the continuation to Minas.
The Brazilians were being transported in handcuffs across the USA. In Brazil, , classified by the ministry as a “flagrant disrespect for the fundamental rights of Brazilian citizens”.
