Vienna – Energy prices for an average household rose for the second time in a row in December 2024. Compared to November, the costs rose by 0.5 percent. However, they declined by 12.1 percent in the year, since the prices for natural gas and firewood have dropped compared to December 2023, the energy agency announced in a broadcast. For this year, however, price increases can be expected.
