The KC-30 aircraft took off from the Brasília Air Base (BABR), at 1 pm (local time). The deportees are without handcuffs due to a decision by the minister who ordered the removal of the handcuffs. He communicated to the president about the attempt by North American authorities to keep Brazilian citizens handcuffed during the repatriation flight, considering this practice a “flagrant disrespect” for human rights.
