Rafael dos Santos Soares, 26, was arrested this Saturday (25), accused of raping his daughter’s nanny in the Mocinha Magalhães neighborhood, in Rio Branco. According to information from authorities, the crime occurred at the suspect’s residence while the victim was taking care of the child.

According to the victim’s report, a 19-year-old girl, the accused used a knife to arrest her, committed the rape and made the victim faint by applying a rear-naked choke before fleeing. After regaining consciousness, the young woman managed to ask her mother for help, who called the Military Police.
The garrison led by 2nd Lieutenant Eliabe provided care to the victim, who reported severe pain. After registering the case at the Women’s Police Station, the victim was taken to the Bárbara Heliodora Maternity Hospital, where the presence of an object, identified as an anal plug, was found.
Medical procedures were carried out to remove the object, and the woman received the necessary care in accordance with the protocols applicable in cases of rape. After being discharged, she returned to the Women’s Police Station to give a statement.
The accused was located by military police officers from the 1st Battalion Tactical in the Estação neighborhood and taken to the Police Station Specialized in Women’s Assistance (DEAM), where he was charged with the crime of rape.
According to the victim’s first reports to the police, the suspect allegedly threatened her with a knife and ordered her not to tell anyone what happened before passing out. During interrogation, Rafael confessed to the crime and admitted to having inserted the plug into the victim.
The case remains under investigation.
