The color of the car we buy may be a matter of financial convenience, but if we can choose, we usually prefer the ones that match our personality, character and temperament. Color psychology
Color psychology affects people more than we realize and admit. It is not only about the fashion and trends of the given year, but about a subconscious feeling of well-being, calmness, or, on the contrary, higher activity, or even tendencies towards aggression. All this can be influenced by colors and, on the other hand, can also be read from their popularity. It is the same with the choice of car color.
Mild colors for mild drivers
It probably won’t surprise anyone that mild and not very prominent colors such as white or silver are most often chosen by serious people who don’t need to stand out from the crowd and draw attention to themselves with flashy or unusual colors.
White is also a symbol of purity, in the figurative sense of pure intentions. It is often chosen, for example, by entrepreneurs who want to make a good impression of a reliable person on their customers or work partners.
Black is dominant
Another color that seems to get lost among the others without much interest is black. Here, however, simple elegance is combined with a desire for dominance and a certain uncompromisingness. They can therefore be more aggressive on the road and the much-needed effort to “come to an agreement” with other drivers can bump into their own ego. It’s not always easy to get along with them, especially if it’s a more luxurious car brand.
Loud creatives
On the other side of this imaginary spectrum are drivers of brightly colored cars. Yellow, orange, bright green or sky blue – these are the colors chosen by optimistic and creative people. Such people have no problem giving way to someone for the sake of a good cause, but they are also not afraid to stand out from the crowd. They have sufficient self-confidence, which does not force them to command and control everything around them at all costs.
Solidity and rules
Darker colors such as dark blue, burgundy or green attract calm and composed drivers who love order and have a sense of order and rules. If you ever need help on the road, they will likely be the first to stop. Their sense of duty won’t even allow them to do anything else.
Red for adrenaline drivers
While all the mentioned colors have their pros and cons, there is still a bright red that we should be very careful about on the roads. Now we are not talking about the cases when the cheapest variants of basic family cars are dressed in it, but about more sporty tuned machines. It is not for nothing that in the case of red, it is a color that is characteristic of many racing cars.
People who need their dose of adrenaline on the road often sit in such cars. They are often more aggressive types, with whom it is not advisable to play too much and you have to try to overtake them. They can easily and sometimes even at the limit of safety prove to you that they are faster and better drivers, even if it costs them “papers” or even their health.
