A two -and -one -year -old Palestinian girl has died tonight for a shot in the head of the Israeli troops in Qabatiya, a town southern Yenín (northern Bank), as confirmed by the Palestinian Ministry of Health this Saturday.
“Laila Muhammad Ayman to Jatib (two and a half years) died from the serious injuries received by the bullets of the occupation,” the ministry announced. The Israeli army, meanwhile, has not yet pronounced about it.
By 20.14 local time (18.14 GMT), the Palestine Moon said he was moving to the girl, then wounded, to the hospital, although a little less than two hours later the authorities confirmed his death.
Qabatiya and its surroundings have also been affected in recent days by the “iron wall” operation of the Israeli army, a “anti -terrorism” macroedada in Yenín, one of the bastions of the Palestinian militias in the northern of occupied West Bank.
“The forces of the Occupation Army (Israeli) continue to sweep and destroy infrastructure in the city of Yenín (…) They also carry out numerous arrests and abuses,” said Qasam brigades, armed arm of Hamas, in their channels of dissemination.
For their part, the Israeli armed forces notified this afternoon that three of their military were injured, one of them seriously, during the raid, which ends this Saturday its fifth day.
Last night, Israel killed two other Palestinians in Qabatiya by bombarding a vehicle in which, according to the Armed Forces, there was a terrorist cell. Shortly after, the Palestinian Islamic jihad claimed the deceased as its militiamen, identified as Mohamed Ragheb Kamil, 23, and Mujahid Mohamed Amer Zakarneh, 18.
So far, the Israeli operation in Yenín and its surroundings has caused the death of at least 15 Palestinians and wounded to dozens.
