Vienna’s City Councilor for Health Hacker is considering “separate waiting times” for guest patients

Vienna – Vienna’s City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker (SPÖ) is considering further tightening of operations on guest patients from other federal states in Vienna’s hospitals after the upper limit. “It is conceivable to introduce separate waiting times,” said Hacker in the Crown newspaper (Sunday edition). Patients from other federal states would then have to wait longer for an operation date than those from Vienna. “But we’re not at that point yet,” Hacker said.
