Surprise in an Auchan supermarket – in Alcampo – in Calais (France) when a snake was found in the facilities. According to reports, the events occurred last Friday the 24th, at 9:30 in the morning, when a customer was in the establishment making purchases.
This person found the snake in the section of the canning area, which prompted the intervention of the firefighters, who delivered the snake to the supermarket’s pet store. Specifically, it was a copy of Treating guttatabetter known as the corn snake. A snake easily recognizable by its pattern of drawings on its belly in the shape of an ear.
It is necessary to highlight that this animal lacks venom and is smaller – between 70 and 80 cm -, factors that make it a common choice for people who have these reptiles as pets. These snakes are solitary and feed on everything from insects such as crickets to rodents.
Another snake found a few days ago
In this sense, this discovery occurs just a few days after workers found another specimen. “The workers found one while cutting trees right in front of Auchan,” the manager said, according to the aforementioned information.
