INSS retirees begin receiving benefits with readjustment this Monday

Retirees e pensioners of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) begin to receive the benefit with adjustment from 4.77% this Monday (27). Payments follow until February 7th.

The first beneficiaries are those insured who earn up to a minimum wagewhich rose from R$1,412 to R$1,518 in 2025. The schedule continues in accordance with the final benefit card numberwithout considering the last check digit, which appears after the dash.

For those who receive more than the national minimum, payments begin next Monday, February 3rd. In 2025, the Social Security ceiling .

According to the INSS, currently 12.2 million beneficiaries receive more than the minimum wage, of which 10.6 thousand receive the Social Security ceiling.

Already 28.5 million people, around 70% of all retirees and pensioners, earn the minimum wage. The data is from November 2024.
