Carnival salad with rice He makes a sensation every time he appears on the table. It fits all family celebrations, from birth to a carnival parties. This is a very interesting combination of non -obvious flavors that can successfully compete with such classics as Gyros salad. Make it and you won’t regret it.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 100 g of basmati rice,
- 250 g of Surimi crab fingers,
- 400 g of corn in the lagoon,
- 200 g of green green cucumbers,
- 50 g of red onion,
- 50 g Majonezu,
- 20 g of natural yogurt,
- a pinch of salt,
- a pinch of pepper,
- 1 packet of curry.
Cook the rice as recommended on the packaging. After cooking the sachet, the rice increases its volume from 100 to about 300 g. Place the cooked rice in a bowl and set aside until completely cool.
Crab fingers are best if they are not free. Remove the foil from each crab finger and cut them into smaller pieces. Leave one or two fingers for decoration. Then peel the cucumbers and cut into small cubes. If necessary, remove the water seed nests. Chop the red onion finely and drain the corn from the pickle.
In a large bowl, mix rice, crab fingers, corn, cucumbers and onions together. Add your favorite mayonnaise, natural yogurt, salt, pepper and 2-3 tablespoons of curry spice. Mix everything together to combine the ingredients. After initial tasting, decide whether to add more spices, but remember not to overdo them with their quantity.
If you want to serve a salad in an interesting way, put it in a wine glass, squeezing tightly. Cover the glass with a plate and turn it upside down so that the salad slowly comes out of the glass. Then get a dome -shaped salad. Place thin slices of crab fingers at the top for decoration.
