Coalition Voice-SD will not participate in the extraordinary meeting of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic on Tuesday (January 28) to dismiss the government. Party chairman Matúš Šutaj Eštok stated this at a press conference.
“I am convinced that the coalition will continue to be stable, that the whole situation surrounding some deputies will stabilize. We were fully cooperative even in the previous meeting, where the opposition, after they no longer had cameras at their disposal, the meeting was no longer important for them,” stated Šutaj Eštok.
The extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic on the motion of no confidence in the Government of the Slovak Republic should begin on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The proposal was submitted by the opposition PS, SaS and KDH. Among other things, they blame the government cabinet the consequences of the consolidation of public finances or the change in Slovakia’s foreign policy towards the east. The proposal was submitted by the opposition again, after the original motion of no confidence in the government was not voted on last week and the meeting was closed to the public.
