Spittal an der Drau / Vienna-The Austrian ski jumping trainer legend Baldur Preiml died on Monday at the age of 85 in Spittal an der Drau, like that Salzburger news first reported. The 1968 Olympic Bronze winner initially led to the ÖSV team around Toni Innauer, Karl Schnabl, Willi Pürstl and Co in the 1970s in the Stams ski gymnasium, then as a coach. Thanks to its innovative training methods, Austria became the leading ski jumping nation.
