The Czech-Slovak Ball will take place under the auspices of the Presidents of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. At the beginning of February, the significant milestones of our history, the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, will commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the first President of Czechoslovakia Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and the 165th anniversary of the birth of the first Prime Minister Karel Kramáře. The program inspiration of the gala evening is also the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous pair of artistic personalities of Jiří Voskovce and Jan Werich, as well as a reminder of 100 years since the founding of the enabled theater. Two exceptional personalities of the Slovak and Czechoslovak cultural scene – Milan Lasica and Milan Čorba will commemorate the participants on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of their birth.
“It will be an honor that I will be able to accompany you in the evening together with my moderator colleague Adam Bardy. Other great stars of the ball, soloists Andrea Zimányiová, Ivana Regešová and Zuzana Gamboa, who together with the string section of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, will perform along with the Radio Big Band.
“We have a huge event of the ball season. We look forward to seeing you on February 1, 2025 in the Municipal House in Prague at the Czech-Slovak Pleso. Together with my band we will play the biggest hits and it will be worth it, ” invites Jana Kirschner. “I greatly appreciate that I was invited and received an offer to perform at the 11th year of the Czech-Slovak Ball. It is the Czech-Slovak reciprocity that I enjoy the most. I will play the songs I recorded in Slovakia and which have just a link, such as the bars, we are short, all will be fine, proclini, I will all be all that you will be. Most of all, I look forward to the fact that this will happen in the beautiful premises of the Municipal House in Prague, ” revealed Janek Ledecky.
The exceptional evening will also be accompanied by exceptional culinary and bartender experiences. The taste buds of more than six hundred guests will take care of the exclusive catering partner of the ball, Stones Catering. A novelty will be the signature bars led by the best Czech-Slovak bartenders, who are among the world’s bartender- Vítězslav Cirok a Maroša Potůčka.
