At least Five people died and about forty wounds This Tuesday when a wooden structure collapses during a religious event in northern Indiafor reasons that are still unknown.
The incident took place during an event of the Jain Minority Community in the Baghpat district, said the district magistrate, Amemita Lal to the Indian Agency Ani.
“A wooden structure collapsed and about 40 people were injured. Twenty people were given first aid and sent them to their homes, another twenty are receiving treatment. 5 people have died,” he added.
