Striker Neymar is getting closer and closer to returning to Santos. This Monday (27), Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, announced the termination of the contract with the player and left the path open to the return to Brazil. >
The announcement was made by the Arab club on social networks. “Al Hilal and Neymar Jr. agreed to terminate the player’s contract for mutual consent. Thank you and good luck, Neymar,” says the post.>
At 32, Neymar leaves Al-Hilal after unsuccessful passage through Saudi football. He was hired in August 2023 after leaving PSG as part of the country’s expansion project in football and other geopolitical aspects. >
The Brazilian signed a contract until August 2025, which yielded a total of 320 million euros (about $ 1.7 billion in the quote of the time). The striker, however, hardly managed to play for Al-Hilal. >
