Out-minister From work, solidarity and social security will enter the municipal race, in a chamber that will cease to have Basilio Horta as president.
Former socialist minister Ana Mendes Godinho is the candidate chosen by Pedro Nuno Santos to enter the electoral race in Sintra. The news was advanced by and confirmed by SIC.
Ana Mendes Godinho will be the candidate of PS to Sintra, municipality who, 12 years later, will let Basilio Horta as president.
On the PSD side, the name chosen should be Marco Almeida.
Ana Mendes Godinho was part of the last three socialist governments, led by António Costa, having been Secretary of State for Tourism in the first and Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security in the remaining.
In the legislative elections he was elected deputy for the circle of Guarda, where he was the head of the list.
