Dengun Founders Program, an international initiative promoted by Dengun Startup Studio, holds its Global Day Day on January 30 at the Le Club in Albufeira. The event will be attended by 12 international startups, selected from more than 400 candidacies, and will bring together a network of over 1,700 national and international investors.
Confirmed partners include 20 groups of investors, including prominent names such as BlueCrow Capital, Build Up Labs, Celtis.pt, Core Angels, Algarve Partners, Ground Capital, IMGA, Investors.pt, Portugal Ventures and VSM Invest, as well as institutions Like the Portuguese Banda de Fomento and International Business Angels Bank, such as Inovexus.
These groups represent a significant network of funds and business angels, many of which are investors who have recently moved to Portugal and have contributed to the development of investment in Early-Stage, a type of essential funding for startups in early stages and still little explored in the country.
The main objective of the event is to prepare startups to capture investment, providing them with a unique opportunity to connect to investors and strategic partners. Selected startups will be able to present their projects and raise investment rounds of about 300 thousand euros on average.
Demo Day marks the closure of an intense three -month program, during which participating startups were transformed into more structured and internationally closed companies.
It continues to highlight the Algarve as a reference destination for innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting global talent and strengthening the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This program reinforces the commitment to create better opportunities and boost companies from Algarve to the world.
