After the debut of the professional team in the Carioca Championship, last Saturday, Flamengo still seeks to reduce their cast to this season. This Sunday, the red-black club reported that athletes Caio Garcia, Carlinhos, Pablo, Thiaguinho and Zé Welington are allowed to negotiate with other clubs.
While not getting right with other clubs, players will train at alternative times at the Vulture Nest CT and will have the entire structure of the club available. The five athletes who are not part of Flamengo’s plans for the season played the first rounds of the Carioca Championship, but did not convince.

Flamengo, even, already negotiates Carlinhos’s loan to Vitória. Pablo, who was loaned to Botafogo last season, Thiaguinho, who passed the Thirteen-PB in 2024, Caio Garcia and Zé Welington still have no future future.
With yesterday’s victory over Volta Redonda, Flamengo provisionally entered the State G4. The team occupies the third place, with seven points. Volta Redonda, which came from three consecutive wins, two of them against Fluminense and Botafogo, was parked in the runner-up with nine points.
In the next round, Flamengo will face Sampaio Corrêa, on Thursday, in the first game that Maracanã will host in 2025. It will be the rediscover of the red-black with its fan.
