How to clean the window sill
There are more types of window sills. You can have a sill of plastic, wood or lacquered. First, we will look at how to effectively clean the wooden window sill. To scrub it, use ideally a soft sponge, water and a commonly used dishes.
If there are stains on your window sill, add a little mixture of baking soda, let it work for a while, and then just scrub just slightly. Wipe with a dry towel after cleaning the window sills and you’re done.
If you have a painted window sill, it is ideal to wash with a brush with soft bristles and classic soapy water. So rinse the window strips and window sills using soapy water. Dry quickly, and if you find stains, use fine sanding paper to remove thin layers with fine finishes. Once the window sill is dry, apply a layer of fresh varnish to it to repair the surface.
How to clean the plastic window sill
With a plastic window sill, cleaning is a little more complicated, but it’s not anything you can’t do. Mix one part of distilled white vinegar and one part of water into the sprayer. Then mix baking soda with a little water and leave for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, spray the vertical window with acetic spray. Use an old brush to remove any stains. After 10 minutes, scrub the entire window sill with a toothbrush. Once you are done, dry the window sill using a dry towel.
