The Sphere of Study and Innovation Institute, launched its first notice for the selection process of granting research scholarships.
There are three scholarships, worth R $ 12,800 each, for projects that study policy solutions in areas such as public safety, transportation, or economics, among others. Registration is open until January 31st.
“The Sphere Institute arrives to encourage the country’s huge academic capacity, converting research into practical solutions, joining academia, private initiative and public demands for efficient answers to complex problems,” says Camila Funaro Camargo Dantas, CEO of the Sphere and the Institute .
The institute also appointed an academic council, coordinated lawyer Pierpaolo Bottini, with academic direction by Fernando Meneguin, master and doctor of economics from the University of Brasilia, with postdoctoral in Law and Economics at the University of California in Berkeley.
Also part of the Sandro Cabral Council, Professor of Strategy and Public Management at Insper, Maria Paula Dallari Bucci, professor at USP Law School, Eloisa Bonfá, the first woman to assume the board of the USP School of Medicine, Caio Resende, Legislative Consultant of Microeconomic Policy of the Federal Senate and Academic Director of IDP, Sérgio Guerra, visiting researcher by Yale Law School, and Karin Kässmayer, lawyer and Senate Legislative Consultant.
