OpenAi CEO Sam Altman called Chinese Artificial Intelligence model Deepseek “impressive” and evaluated as “invigorating” having a new competitor in the market. He also promised that his company will make new releases soon.
“It’s an impressive model, especially for what they can offer for the price,” Altman wrote on his X profile, in reference to the launch of DeepSek.
“We will obviously deliver much better models and it is also really invigorating to have a new competitor! We will make some releases, ”he added.
Altman also said that the world will want to use “a lot” and will be “surprised” with the next generation models.
