Asteroid Bennu contains molecules that are not known from life on earth

Did life come from space to earth? This question is not about aliens who have made a detour to our planet with spaceships, but about the impact of meteorites that could have brought water and basic building blocks of life with them. Samples from the earth are of course contaminated with flora and fauna in our world. That is why experts collected dust of the Asteroid 101955 Bennu directly in space at the NASA mission Osiris Rex 2020 and brought him to earth to explore him. The first major studies have now brought completely new insights – and organic material, as it does not exist on our planet.
