French dancer and choreographer Victoria Dauberville enchanted social networks by sharing a video where ballet dances in the bow of a ship surrounded by Antarctica’s ice. The performance, registered by her boyfriend, Mathieu Forget, quickly became viral, accumulating more than eight million views and hundreds of thousands of tastes on Instagram.
The couple revealed that the idea came during a cruise to Antarctica and that the ship’s captain, enthusiastic about the concept, helped position the vessel in the ideal place to create the perfect scenario. Despite the extreme conditions, such as the intense cold, the wind and the constant movement of the ship, Victoria was able to perform her dance, providing images that many netizens considered “amazing and unrealistic.”
