The minister, of the (Supreme Federal Court), decided on Tuesday (28) to overthrow the restrictions of sending to six foundations and institutes linked to teaching and research.
The institutions were prevented from receiving amendment money because they did not give transparency to the transfers.
The unlocking was possible after the CGU (Comptroller General of the Union) concluded that the payments made to the entities were transparent, after adjustments to the websites of the institutions.
The decision removes restrictions on the following foundations:
- Foundation for Support Foundation for Scientific and Technological Research of the Federal Rural University of Rio January (FAPUR);
- Project Coordination Foundation, Research and Technological Studies (COPPETEC);
- Research Support Foundation (FUNAPE);
- Brazilian Institute of Citizenship and Social Action (IBRAS);
- Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development in Health (FIOTEC);
- Research Development Foundation (FUNDEP).
