Episodes described in investigations of reinforced the evidence of combined acting in Congress between the current favorite to command, and the former president of the house.
Dialogues analyzed by the police indicate that Hugo Motta (currently in the -PB) so that he omitted who was the real interested in demands.

The dialogue occurred in August 2012, when Paraibano was still in his first term in the House, and Cunha was one of the main leaders of the PMDB.
The then Attorney General quoted this message about the mode of operation of Cunha’s political group in the House at that time. The former mayor lost his term in 2016 and was arrested more than three years.
The mentioned MP dealt with various topics, such as BNDES financing and state and municipal debt installment payment. The then president vetoed two excerpts in July 2012 – when this happens, Congress can overthrow the veto.
Hugo Motta was a rapporteur of this provisional measure.
The conversations appear in a PF report made after the former mayor was the target of search and seizure in 2015, in the so-called Operation Catilinarians, an offshoot of Lava Jato.
Later, this same report cites another occasion when “the use of Deputy Hugo Motta as a legislative tool by Eduardo Cunha was identified”.
The document chronicles an episode in which a Cunha advisor, also in 2012, sends him an email with a minute of request stating: “Can I send to Hugo Motta to sign ???”
According to the police officer responsible for the analysis, the request requested from the Ministry of Mines and Energy information about contracts between an arm of Petrobras and a biofuels company. The request would be filed with the Financial Inspection and Control Committee of the House of Representatives.
“Hugo Motta receives email with a draft request, containing his name as author, sent by advisor to Eduardo Cunha,” says the police report.
At the time of Lava Jato, to be sued for allegedly submitting requirements at the request of Cunha against a company. Solange Almeida (then at PMDB-RJ) turned back with the ally in criminal action, but was acquitted.
In the police report of Operation Catilinarians, there was also a quote from investigators to what would be a message from Hugo Motta to Cunha about financial transfers to the party.
“A message from the contact ‘Hugo Mota’ tells Eduardo Cunha that he had achieved 100 for the PMDB and that in the subsequent month he would get the same amount. It is believed that ‘Hugo Mota’ is expressing the values in thousands,” the document says.
Currently in his fourth term, Hugo Motta was removed from the so -called low clergy of the House (the group without national political expression) when Cunha took the lead of the PMDB in 2013.
The proximity to Cunha has always been public. The former deputy himself, in his, describes the then co-religionist as “a good framework, compromising.”
Even today, the former president still participates in events with his former political godson. On the night of Tuesday (28), Cunha was at a dinner from the bench from Rio de Janeiro to Hugo Motta, accompanied by her daughter, federal deputy Dani Cunha (União Brasil-RJ).
In 2015, when he was 25 years old, Motta was elected by Cunha to the presidency of the DA, constituted that year to investigate in Congress the revelations arose in Lava Jato.
At the time, Lava Jato, still in a period prior to the inquiries about today president, aimed at names of several major parties and caused continuous tension in Brasilia.
In his failed attempt to close an award -winning plea agreement in mid -2017, Cunha also said he had bought votes to try to elect Hugo Motta to the PMDB lead in the House in 2016.
According to the former mayor, the dispute between Leonardo Picciani and Hugo Motta in 2016 was the most expensive due to negotiations related to the composition of Dilma’s committee. The parliamentarian of Paraíba ended up losing the dispute.
Cunha said he does not recognize the denunciation as true and that the facts that are in the proposal of collaboration did not exist.
The attempted denunciation was shared among prosecutors in a Chat of the Telegram app, in July 2017, in the material obtained by The Intercept Brazil and also analyzed by Sheet.
However, Cunha himself had already spoken publicly about the negotiation of denunciation – in more than one occasion.
